Dear Parents,

Hello and welcome to the Imagine Charter Pre-K program. We are so excited to be a part of your family next year. Our preschool program utilizes Core Knowledge, Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA), Zoophonics and Handwriting Without Tears curriculums. We are excited to introduce these to you and your child as they present fun hands on activities to help them learn and grow. Our ultimate goals over the next year are to have your child develop a love for learning, create lifelong friendships and prepare them for their next adventure in Kindergarten.

We are looking forward to getting to know your family, but before we can do that, you need to know about us.

My name is Danielle Gallegos and I have been teaching Pre-K professionally since 2007. I am currently continuing my education to obtain my masters in early childhood. This will be a slow process but learning new things is always exciting! I am the oldest of 3 girls and 18 cousins, so children have always been a huge part of my life. I live in Mead with my husband Joe and two Daughters; Olivia (10) and Gianna (5) and our Chocolate Lab, Cash. My girls are avid dancers and performers and inspire me every day to be a better teacher and person. This is my fourth year here at Imagine and I am so excited to be back. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing school community. Besides teaching, my passions are: writing, reading, history, yoga, dance, music and crafts. I also love to fly fish and spend time in the outdoors. This year is going to be  a wonderful adventure and I am thrilled to be a part of your family!

My name is Maria Ochoa and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I live in Longmont with my husband Joao and my Daughter Sophia who will be in second grade next year at Imagine. I have volunteered in the children’s ministry program at my church for the past 4 years. I love doing art with preschoolers and inspiring their creativity. This is my third year at Imagine and I am looking forward to teaching Spanish and leading the afternoon program.  When I am not teaching I enjoy going hiking, swimming, and spending time with my family.

Mrs. Ochoa and I work very closely together so feel free to communicate with one of us or both for any questions you may have. We will be checking our e-mail at least once a week throughout this summer and would be happy to help you with anything that comes up. You can contact us at:
