Welcome!  I am a lifetime resident of Colorado, growing up in Arvada and moving to Greeley when I attended the University of Northern Colorado.  I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Elementary Education. I also completed my Masters of Reading through UNC in 2013.  I am in my 14th year of teaching. My experience is in charter schools in first through eighth grades.  I currently reside in Greeley with my fiance, daughter, dog, cat and bunny.  I enjoy reading, hunting, local politics, and spending time with my friends and family.  I am excited to be back for another year of teaching first grade at Imagine!

Resources
ThinkCentral: Please find the students textbook, online manipulatives, and informative parent and student videos referencing our math program Singapore Math.  I will send home a username and password with your child at the beginning of the year.

Math in Focus Extra Practice: Please feel free to print out these workbook pages to assist your child in concepts where extra practice is needed.

MobyMax- let me know if you need a login!

Inifinite Campus: Please check IC frequently and email me with any questions or concerns.  I will be updating IC on a weekly basis.

Book-It: Our class will be participating in the Book-It Reading Program. Each month October through March, your child should track his/her reading minutes on a calendar that you can print off from the website.  Our goal is 100 minutes per week. Please have your calendar filled out and returned to me the first of each month.  I will send a certificate with a coupon for a special gift from Pizza Hut!

Parent Pack: Please check this document for important information about our first-grade year.

IPICK: Our class learned the rap to help us choose books that are perfect to read! Please ask your child about this and practice this each time he/she chooses a new book to read!

Spelling: Click here to practice the week's spelling words!

Puma Pledge:  Please work on memorizing our school pledge over the course of the beginning of the school year. We recite this daily in our morning announcements.

Fundraising while you Shop...

Purchase a reloadable King Soopers card for $5.00 from the front office. You will receive a card with $5.00 on it. Take it to the customer service desk or reload it at the register when doing your shopping & ICSF will receive 5% cash back. Each time you shop, reload your card. You can use cash, checks or a credit card to reload up to $500.00 at a time. There is a five minute delay once you reload before the funds are available. The gift card must be reloaded in a separate transaction prior to your groceries being scanned. It’s that simple!
